Short Answer: No, AA4PD is not an RTO but we provide industry-based professional training to trainers, assessors and RTO staff.
Detailed Answer: RTOs (Registered Training Organisations) deliver nationally recognised qualifications such as Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, etc. These courses are usually taught by VET trainers, focus on long-term study. Such qualifications often cost THOUSANDS of dollars and are recorded on the USI (Unique Student Identifier) register. RTOs rarely offer short professional development (PD) courses.
At AA4PD, we have a large team of industry specialists and focus on developing affordable short online professional development (PD) courses for learners across a wide range of industries.
We also provide specialised support services to RTOs such as assessment validation, internal audits, add to scope, and initial registration, in addition to training and assessment resources through our sister company, AssessRight Solutions.
There is no such thing as regulator-approved professional development courses. These regulators do not approve, endorse, or reject any courses from any training provider in Australia.
Professionals working in the NDIS, Aged Care, and Vocational Education and Training sectors are instead expected to undertake professional development activities that supports their regulatory and compliance obligations.
That's why we make sure that these type of courses:
* Aligns with the requirements, standards, and expectations of the relevant regulatory framework (NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, Standards for RTOs)
* Supports the personโs role, responsibilities, and skill development
* Provides evidence of completion, such as a Certificate of Completion, suitable for audits, reviews, and compliance checks
Our courses are developed to align with these sector requirements and to support practitioners and organisations in meeting their ongoing/continuing professional development, compliance, and audit-readiness obligations. Participants may confidently use our Certificates of Completion as recognised evidence of their professional development activities.
