INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Support the Learning & Development of a Workgroup course. This assessment will confirm your understanding of how to create an environment that supports ongoing learning, including providing opportunities for self-evaluation, feedback and reflection on performance, and using facilitation techniques to support team learning and improvement. You will be required to show how you monitor the implementation of learning plans, track progress towards development goals, and gather and use feedback from individuals and teams to adjust and improve learning arrangements.

You will also be assessed on how you document and follow through on learning and development outcomes, including assessing and recording the results of learning activities for individuals and teams, and maintaining learning and development records and reports in line with organisational requirements. The assessment will explore your ability to use this information to identify further development needs and ongoing support required for the workgroup, ensuring that learning and development remains an ongoing, responsive process rather than a one-off event.

By successfully completing this course assessment, you will have demonstrated that you can interpret and apply the core requirements of supporting the learning and development of a workgroup, including linking development needs to organisational goals, planning and coordinating learning activities, facilitating feedback and reflection, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate development records—confirming your readiness to play an active role in building and sustaining team capability within your organisation.
